Stylish Alchemy Diamond Inspired Smart Switch for Your Smart Home

After Mateone, Venn IDC has submitted their latest project to Tuvie, Alchemy Smart Switch. It’s an ergonomic light switch with feedback, you can read their explanation below.

Our daily lives are surrounded by smart devices and things start to get easier everyday by them. However, are the items that we interact daily in our houses, light switches compatible with this trend? Alchemy smart switch is a product that is a part of a whole smart home system, it is highly possible that more feedbacks can be given to users by wall-mount switches. Also, the design team of this project is strongly opposed the idea that light switches are “mount once and forget them” products. As well as they are inevitable to use, they can also elevate the look of our rooms, they can look modern and stylish. The final product designed for technology company, Alchemy is a unique “decoration” piece besides the functions it offers.

Venn IDC explains that the led light bar on the product conveys specific messages about the condition of the lights by its color. Easily, you can dim the lights, also you can control them remotely. Not causing confusion was one of the directives since a light switch needs to be used by people who are seven or seventy. Not changing the familiar ‘turning the lights on’ gesture; but elevating it sparked the main structure of the product. The functional prototype of the diamond inspired product has been appreciated by potential users. The light switch is planned to be the first product of a ‘smart home devices’ family. Familiar gestures in harmony with the latest technology, modern look and enhanced feedback will be the anchor points for the planned product line.
