Station Sport Lib’ is a special project imagined by Concept Sport and designed by Philippe Starck. It’s a set of sports equipment that can be installed in any urban environment to promote free and accessible sport to everyone. It seems like Rémi Muzeau, Mayor of Clichy (France), also agrees with the idea, together with Sébastien Chabal, founder of Concept Sport, they have inaugurated the installation of first Station Sport Lib’.

This installation is also part of Heritage Plan 2024, which can be linked to the attribution of Olympic Games to Paris. Philippe Starck features minimalist objects, which are governed by their function and environment to construct this urban sports equipment. They can also be surrealist sculptures set placed on park, garden, or a sidewalk, inviting people to use them. By installing Station Sport Lib’, it encourages people to do sports freely, whatever level of practice and available time, people can exercise freely based on their ambition and intensity they want to put in.
