Submitted by Shin Feng, SPECTA is one of coolest EDC gears on the market. Most of the time writing instruments and fidget devices are designed as separate tools or physically combined into one. The result of the latter is seldom clean nor sightly. Shin Feng wanted to create a pair of tools that does both but also look good and can last for a lifetime.
The SPECTA is unlike any other tools for productivity and stress relief. It is made entirely out of metal and comes with some very unique features. The pen is equipped with interactive rotating scales, the first of its kind that provides silent fidgeting. The user simply twists the pen to receive the feedback. The pre-installed ballpoint refill allows for silky smooth writing and a perfectly concealed stylus is ready to provide a smudge free experience. There’s also a beautifully machined stainless-steel clip on the cap that secures pen inside the pocket, as well as preventing it from rolling of the table! [Pre-Order]
On the other hand, the SPECTA ball is a hybrid pen stand/fidget device. It packs a punch with 9 features. The spherical unibody is milled from a single block of aluminum, making it extremely durable and comfortable to hold. Every inch of space on the ball is designed with a function:
- A turning top-ring bezel
- Retractable bottle opener that lets user fidget with by flicking it open like a knife
- Integrated spring loaded silent button
- Two spinners that can spin together or independently
- Soft silicone knob to rub against
- Accepts a 1/4″ insert hex bit and transform the ball into a driver.
Both the pen and ball works best when they are used together. As individual tools, each offers its own unique fun and capabilities. With precision manufacturing, they are also made with very high standards. SPECTA comes in a range of materials including aluminum, copper and brass. [Pre-Order]
