Solarpill, it’s a tiny solar light inspired by the story of Hansel and Gretel where they could find their way back home simply by following reflection of pebbles they’ve left in advance. This little device is designed for visual communication specially in emergency situations, a nice backup emergency light for outdoor enthusiasts, campers, or anyone who works outdoors. It’s small enough to be worn as necklace.

When you need to be able to track your location, you can leave several Solarpill lights by hanging or pinning on proper surfaces such as trees, branches, ground or soft rocks. In the end, these lights would function as a guide or a path for you to go back to your original location.

Designed by Alican Faydalı, Solarpill has two light modes: flashing (SOS) and flashlight. The main function is the SOS mode, it communicates by flashing periodically. The second mode, flashlight is helpful when you need to illuminate something in the dark. Each Solarpill uses solar energy to recharge itself but you can also choose to recharge multiple modules using USB port through its charging station.
