Sora Robot System is a futuristic online shopping delivery robot that consists of main vehicle with a fleet of smaller, agile delivery robots which are some designed to navigate city streets, others capable of taking to the air. It’s a complete delivery system where ground meets air for the final mile.
The system begins at the warehouse, which is responsible only for packing the parcels and assigning an approximate delivery location. Once the main robotic vehicle arrives at the facility, it automatically loads the packages via a rear docking interface, no human intervention needed.
Inside the mother vehicle of Sora, there’s a network of smaller robotic couriers prepares for deployment. These compact delivery bots, both wheeled and aerial, are reloaded and arranged autonomously for optimized last-mile delivery.
Upon reaching the designated delivery zone, the main vehicle parks at a strategic location, and the smaller robots disperse. Ground-based units navigate narrow streets, alleyways, and residential zones, while drone units lift off to reach rooftops, balconies, or hard-to-access locations. This multi-level approach drastically reduces delivery time, eases traffic congestion, and streamlines logistics—all while operating with precision and autonomy.
