A project by Studio A111, this cottage design was inspired by traditional fisherman’s cabins. The idea here was to design a small cabin on a bank of a pond that would allow guests enjoy awesome scenery that surrounds it. Limited by legislation, the maximum built-up area is 50m square while the maximum height is 5m, it is based on special ground-plan solution for a family holiday house.
This cottage set consists of four small cabins, three of which are connected and only one is separated, standing nearby. The central cabin can be accessed through a minimal entrance by the kitchen, it also features a built-in component of a rather small attic space, an ideal sleeping space for children. From the kitchen and bathroom, guests can enjoy a beautiful view of the water surface, while the living space opens up to another direction, sunlit scenery of mature oaks. That separated cabin serves as a storage space with a covered porch, this is also a perfect spot to dry fisherman nets.
