UAV a.k.a drone is a sophisticated and smart aircraft that can be maneuvered by almost anyone. The increasing use of drones for commercial, agriculture, leisure, to industrial applications has made commercial drones rapidly popular, especially as the cost has become more affordable. At the same time, we also notice the rise of anti-drone industry because these drones can also create major threats beyond the conflict areas. These camera-equipped drones can invade people’s privacy (spying) or intercept data, furthermore, they are also misused, for e.g. to smuggle drugs across prison walls or send hazardous materials to cause damage to someone/something.

NextOfKin Creatives has come up with lightweight drone inhibitor which can counter drone operation, it detects and disable threats. Unfortunately drone jammers are illegal to operate in the U.S.A, except for certain federal agencies that have been given permission to use a drone jammer. The multi-sensor integrated system uses signal detection to provide an indication of drone controllers and target drones.

SkyArcher Handheld Drone Inhibitor might look like a weapon, but the visual language here is meant to represent defense and protection. It has rounded corners and extendable handle for comfort fit.
