Segway just launched Segway SE-3 Patroller which has been specifically designed for Police or Security Force. As the leading provider of electric personal transportation, Segway believes that this 3-wheel vehicle can increase public safety, it will be available in the market at a base MSRP of $11,999.

Well, based on Segway’s reputation, we believe in the design and quality wouldn’t disappoint us, besides, SE-3 is a natural extension of Segway’s Patroller product line. It’s a perfect application when we need a larger vehicle to create better visibility and obvious security presence.

Powered by multiple rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries, SE-3 can be charged at any standard electrical outlet or it can also be easily swapped out for replacement batteries for continuous use. The independent direct rear wheel drive makes this vehicle easy to turn, even in tight radius. Each unit includes emergency lights, headlight, siren, brake light, and lockable compartment. The 4.3-inch color display is easy to read, user can find speed, battery life, and distance traveled information through the screen.
