During Monaco Yacht Show, Sarp Yachts, Turkish yard, announced that it would build a new range of hybrid yachts, XSR series. This concept yacht is promised to hit the water in 2019. The first model of this range would be XSR 85 luxury yacht, it is styled inside and out by Red Yacht Design with fast displacement hull developed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects.
Featuring 25.7 meter body, the first model in the range is XSR 85. Another next designs are already in the queue, including 32 meter XSR 105, and 38 meter XSR 125. During the show, all three-scale models attracted many potential customers, all these three models feature unique superyacht wheelhouse windscreen, superstructure, and extensive use of glazing throughout and all-GRP construction.
The 125GT interior of Sarp Yachts XSR 85 Luxury Yacht boasts accommodation for eight guests and four crew members all on the lower deck, in the mean time, the saloon has been envisioned as a flexible area with freestanding furniture and sliding doors. The area can be combined with aft deck to create one large entertainment space.
There’s a pretty large superyacht spa pool on the foredeck and a choice of tender storage options. XSR 85 from Sarp Yachts is powered by a twin 1,000hp diesel-electric propulsion system, providing a top speed of 20 knots while its 7,500 liter fuel capacity would allow this yacht for extended coastal cruises.
