Salchibotxo is a modern hot dog cart that doesn’t look boring, especially when you want to sell hot dogs under the shade of Guggenheim. Arquimaña was commissioned by the Bistro Guggenheim to come up with modern cart, a pop up, or a portable food unit you might say, that emphasizes on local, artisanal goods. This cart should represent clean, modern, and efficient design where you can cook, prepare, and sell products on the street.
Salchibotxo would sell only sausages and beers of local brands, it would be an urban element that blends tradition with modernity. Made of oak with laser perforated plate, this food cart offers a nice balance with fold up screens that offer shade for both vendor and customers. There’s even a secret slot for tip.
