Pull Me to Life furniture is part of “Movement” project, the designer tried to imagine what it’s like to have all objects in the room come to life. It would be interesting to see all kinds of different movement based on shape, structure, and function. So it began, the researched needed to identify how each furniture move and how to make it look alive, apparently, it requires non ordinary movement, but more unexpected movement to make people surprised.
The drawer in this furniture is basically use pull and push movement to be alive. It generates another movement, which is unexpected. The drawer features special skin, when closed, it looks just like normal drawer with fancy skin but when it is pulled, the skin would slowly and gradually changes color from back to front.
