The Plusone robot concept was designed by industrial designer Aki Hirota as his avatar, so he tried hard to make it more like a human than a traditional machine. The inspiration of the concept was not to disclose his face on the web, however, the final outcome doesn’t match with his face at all, but it still symbolizes his job of creating useful designs and fight against awful designs. Hirota prefers it to be considered as a super hero robot that will save the design world from the bad design forces and establish a sound design industry.
