ON Tape Dispenser Design for Practical Use of Scotch Tape

In an attempt to redesign Scotch tapes, Fountain Studio had to identify four problems with existing Scotch tapes. First of all, in order to tape anything, you have to use both hands, second is fingerprint marks issue and any contamination that occurs when you remove the tape. The third issue is the process of using the tape should be more practical, and the last one is that you need to put multiple pieces to other objects when you want to use it continuously. ON is a conceptual tape dispenser that you can use freely. You can easily adjust the length of the tape with only one hand.

ON Tape Dispenser has been designed with two holes at the bottom, the tape from the first hole can be pressed and bonded by the rubber pad. User can press the button along to the cutter sign when the desired length is reached, the tape would be cut off and can be used continuously, providing free usability. There’s a small hole in the body that can be used to check remaining amount of the tape. We think the mechanism of this dispenser from Fountain Studio is similar to a duck tape gun dispenser.
