There is an interesting word call “Affordance” in design and psychology. It means that object’s properties can show the possible actions users can take with it, thereby suggesting how they may interact with that object. That was the reason why Fang-Chun Tsai designed this Affordance alarm clock that features unique form, just like a half pebble. User would immediately realize that they can place some stuff on it.
Designed by Fang-Chun (Marcus) Tsai, this device is not just an alarm clock, it’s also a wireless charging platform. It has two charging coils of Qi, so iPhone X and AirPods can be re-charged at the same time. Just place your devices on the this clock and go, enjoy the convenient wireless charging technology.
Affordance Alarm Clock also includes other features, such as Bluetooth speaker with four 45mm speaker inside, NFC connection that allow user to easily pair with other device, and temperature-humidity detection, radio with AM/FM/DAB frequency. This alarm clock uses two AA battery so that it can operate without external power supply.
