Mercedes-AMG Project ONE is a two-seater sportscar that transforms most efficient Formula 1 hybrid technology from track to the street. The design of Mercedes-AMG Project ONE is based on a simple principle where each details offers a specific benefit to the overall performance. It has muscular proportions, which are based on the mid-engine concept, the cockpit is set well forward, the large wheel arches and the wasp waist with its extensive tail to display clear pointers to the car’s motorsports origins.
The front view of Project ONE is dominated by large black front spoiler with air inlets stretching across the entire width. The Flat LED headlamps are designed to fit seamlessly into the body contours. The air inlet at the top fuses elegantly into the vertical shark fin. It is also completed with exhaust pipe design that features a larger round outlet and two further small openings based on F1 vehicles.
In order to allow passengers to feel the authenticity of F1, the interior also offers fusion of performance and practicality. Colors and materials are carefully selected for the interior and of course, they are inspired by F1 racing car. There are two bucket seats that feature minimalist, futuristic, and innovative design. The pedals and Formula One style steering wheel can be adjusted as necessary.
