Kami Kamisori Disposable Paper Razor Folds Like Origami

In order to reduce single use plastics, KAI Industries, a Japanese company, has developed world’s first disposable paper razor, Kami Kamisori. It’s a good product for every hotel room to finally remove those plastic razors, which are usually thrown away after every use. Kami Kamisori aims to reduce plastic waste with 98% plastic free paper razor.

The handle of Kami Kamisori is entirely made from paper but it is also flat packed for easy to carry anywhere with you. It folds just like origami to transform it into the shape of a razor while the blade comes with a protective sticker. Simply remove and wrap around the handle to secure the sticker before use.

KAI Industries was started by blades, and now, they make knives, blades, and razors. Kami Kamisori Paper Razor is not just a concept, it’s actually commercially available on April 22, 2021, exactly on the Earth Day. Unfortunately at the moment they sell it in Japan only. According to this site, a set of paper razor (5pcs) will be available for 1000 yen.
