Even though Jordan brand is part of Nike as a subsidiary, this brand has its own identity. Recently Jordan celebrates 25 years of the Air Jordan XI by releasing two new models to pay respect to the Jumpman past and look to the future: the Air Jordan XI Jubilee and Air Jordan XI Adapt.
Air Jordan XI Jubilee
This model was inspired by original sketches of Air Jordan XI, this 25th anniversary aims to bring back that model by incorporating a metallic silver Jumpman logo along with “JORDAN” on the eyelets. Even the heel is embroidered with “23” silver and printed “25” on the insoles. Checkout the tongue, it has special stitched “JUMPMAN” and “JORDAN” tag.
Air Jordan XI Adapt
Well, this time, Jordan Brand incorporates Nike Adapt power lacing technology into its iconic models as complement to the original silhouette. When Air Jordan XI Jubilee demonstrates rich history of Air Jordan XI, the Adapt wants to bring the same silhouette into the future. It’s an automatic laceless shoe, user can use Adapt App to customize the buttons on the shoe’s midsole, color, or even flashing pattern.
