To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Apple Inc., Kurt Merki Jr. designed a supercomputer called iPro as a tribute to this company in 2014. Now, he is challenging the status quo of iPhone, creating a new direction not just evolution but a revolution by rebuilding the overall concept. iPhone Pure was born.
“Try to take a step further by taking a step back”, Kurt Merki Jr. explains that is the idea behind his motivation when creating iPhone Pure. He wanted to take a smartphone into a new direction by reducing and rethinking our process in many ways to rebuild something new. This new iPhone Pure concept is different than mono-design that dominates today’s market, it reduces everything to a minimum by creating new functions and technology yet to be explored.

The Pure stands for a new and simplified modern-day smartphone. By reducing its aesthetics, rebuilding its core-structure and rethinking the smartphone, the iPhone Pure evolves. From the headphones to lightning jack all external connections can be accessed wirelessly. In addition to that the back of the phone has a new multi-connector called the HUBconnector. This is used to charge the battery, connect to your computer or even to plug in headphones with an adapter.
Tuvie has received “iPhone Pure” project from our ‘Submit A Design‘ feature, where we welcome our readers to submit their design/concept for publication.
