Floating image creator. Holomagik is a device that creates a bit like a “mirage” where image can magically float in mid-air, a hologram. Simply connect Holomagik to any video output device and just like any external monitor, your image appears before you in mid-air. This device works by illuminating an image or video onto a special reflector, then reflected back via a half mirror or you can say filter. From this point, your image or video will magically appear, 2-3 inches above the mirror. For Holomagik works to its full potential, it is suggested that you view the image/video in a dimmed environment. This device is equipped with USB-C connector and HDMI port, connect your smart or video output device should be easy.

Designed as foldable device, Holomagik turns your image to live. You can pair this device with any non-touch input sensors such as “Leap Motion” controller or “Airbar” device that create an interactable hologram. It sounds pretty awesome, heh? This is something that can be used by retail stores to display their products and allow visitors to have good interaction with them.

The design team believes that this technology should be accessible for designers, UI/UX students, game developers, hobbyists, etc. to explore with. The possibilities are endless. However, it’s not a final product yet, it’s not a perfect product yet. That’s why they need your support to develop Holomagik even further, as they have to produce 300-500pcs as requested by the factory for the first batch of production. This crowd funding campaign would also become a benchmark whether there are any interests about this hologram technology in the market, to know if this project has a future or not.
