Designed by Hakan Gürsu of Designnobis, Heat-X just won a Silver Award in European Product Design Award 2018 for Energy Conservation Equipment category. It’s an efficient cooking pot designed in a way that uses heat effectively. Thanks to its unique super-circle shape, the pot employs a helix around the main cooking chamber where hot air travels through the increased surface area. This pot can be used on any kind of stove, it collects the heated air through the holds on the bottom.
Heat-X by Hakan Gürsu moves the air between ceramic and metal walls, it then flows out via the upper holes. It means that your food only comes in contact with ceramic chamber, it allows for a healthy way to warm your food. Designed with double layered metal bottom, the pot provides insulation and heat distribution for energy preservation.
Tuvie has received “Heat-X Energy Efficient Cooking Pot” project from our ‘Submit A Design‘ feature, where we welcome our readers to submit their design/concept for publication.
Would be interesting to know how much more efficient it is. How much quicker can you boil a quart or water, for instance.
