Children who become amputees don’t suddenly stop experiencing skeletal development. This means that they also experience height changes, that’s why these patients need to replace prosthetics every year. Unfortunately, it also means wasting resources and incurring cost every year. Growth Prosthetics has been designed to address this problem. It is an extendable and adjustable prosthetic structure that incorporates expandable foot sizing.
As children with prosthetic grow, there’s no need to purchase a new prosthetic, simply adjust the current one. This new design will prolong prosthetic use, offering consistent support to accompany children to teenagers with disabilities while growing up.
