Grafito Sailing Yacht is a conceptual super yacht born out of the idea to use graphene as a material of the future. This type material would reduce corrosion and build much better quality yachts that those on the market today.
I tried to make more use of geometry forms such as a hexagon, the golden ratio and its influence. On the deck of the ship is the light that I call a symphony of light, for the shape I used the notes of a famous symphony in the hope to create some kind of harmony. The whole project was an attempt to make meaningful forms of a meaningful product, basically it was applied with “form follows function” principle. In many products, the concept ideas behind the design process was usually not seen, it would be nice to see how people react to these ideas.

It would be nice to see a yacht design that can actually sail. The technology behind sailing is so very much sophisticated. Would it be too much to ask to respect the basic princples of aerodynamics, displacement and draft . . . . . . . .
