FAQs
No. The keyboard features a floating cantilever stand that easily opens to the perfect angle in landscape orientation.
No. The keyboard doesn’t support pass-through charging and does not charge your iPad while it is being charged. You will need to charge your tablet separately from the case.
To enter pairing mode, press right option + B (left option + B doesn’t put the keyboard into pairing mode) and select “ESR KEYBOARD” from the list of available Bluetooth devices.
If the trackpad is unresponsive when you tap it, “Tap to Click” must be enabled. To turn it on, go to Settings > General > Trackpad > Turn on “Tap to Click”.
The keyboard has a standard US layout. A standard US layout keyboard is typically used in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.

Wish I know about this keyboard earlier for my previous iPad as I used Logitech and not quite my expectation. I recently bought this iPad case for my new iPad and it is the best and most affordable iPad keyboard that meets all my expectations. Fast delivery too

EDITED 10/27/22Got my new iPad 10 yesterday, did the usual setup and excitedly started working with it and this keyboard. I REALLY, REALLY wanted to rate this keyboard as perfect, and for the most part it is pretty good. Unfortunately, the distance between the bottom of the screen and the top row of the keyboard (the number/punctuation keys) is REALLY, REALLY SMALL. I’ve got skinny fingers and I’m constantly hitting my fingernails on the bottom of the tablet when I try to type in numbers, annoying me to no end. Touch typers will be slowed down by this and I can’t imagine how people with larger fingers are going to handle it.Charged the battery all night long and when I turned it on 12 hours later it was only at 99% (and the battery isn’t THAT big). I’ve been using the keyboard for exactly 30 minutes now to enter a couple of website addresses, scroll through the sites and then to edit this review. In those 30 minutes, the power on the keyboard went from 99% to 92%, giving a **rough** estimate of 7 hours of battery life.NOTE TO MANUFACTURER: It needs to tilt about 1/4” more to increase the top row clearance.ORIGINAL REVIEW:All the benefits of the Apple Magic Keyboard design for the iPad Gen 10! Looks great! Wish they’d had this for my Gen 8!

The quality definitely feels premium – the outer is a soft durable material, the keyboard feels hefty and the inside has a suede cover where it touches the iPad.Only downsides are the need to charge and the angle range doesn’t seem as wide as the Magic Keyboard. All in all, I think you get what you pay for and if the Magic Keyboard is out of budget then this is a good value product.

Overall, the ESR keyboard is a solid keyboard. The magnet that holds the iPad is strong enough that you can walk around with the case open and the iPad does not move. The keys are very responsive to type on, just like a standard keyboard. The backlit keys have several levels of brightness.I’m really happy that I decided on a keyboard with a trackpad. It works very well and the instructions include various options to use with one, two or three fingers. The only trouble I had was with the zooming in or out. I had to use a finger on each had compare to the pinching motion using one hand.I didn’t have as much of an issue with using the number row of keys being too close to the iPad, but I did have trouble double tapping the power button. The power button is in the upper right hand corner of the keyboard (above the numbers row) where there is not mulch room to tap. That area also displays the battery power Bluetooth connection and cap lock.Other than the issue with the power button location, the other issue I had is with the storage for the Apple Pencil. I purchased a MoKo brand pencil from ESR which works well with the iPad and fits in the pencil storage area. The problem is you can only store the pencil when the case open. The flap that hold the pencil will not close properly with the pencil in it. The pencil storage area should be in a place that work when the case is open or closed.Although, the ESR keyboard case is made to hold the iPad in landscape mode, I was able to put the iPad in Portrait mode and it stayed. I would walk around with it is portrait mode but on a table or your lap it did stay and I was able to play a bowling game with no problem. The game worked with the trackpad so I didn’t hav to use the touchscreen to play the game.Even with the few negatives I mentioned, I would still recommend this keyboard. I posted a few photos to show landscape and portrait modes, pencil holder and how the case does not close with the pencil stored.

I got this keyboard to replace one that I was originally using with my iPad thinking the keyboard was bad. Turned out, I had the same problem with this keyboard, but I decided to keep it because I really like it. The problem is a software issue not a keyboard issue. This keyboard is better than my original one because it has backlit keys, and when I need to turn the keyboard off, there’s a button for that. On my original keyboard, I had to actually disconnect it from the iPad, which was a hassle. The viewing angle is right for me and the keys feel great for typing. My only complaint is that it’s a little heavy, but I can get used to that.

This is my first time with a keyboard case. I have an ESR rebound mag case that I love, so wanted to give the keyboard a try. It’s been great. Not too heavy, compact, the iPad easily attaches and can be removed. This was key when I was going thru security at the airport recently, I was able to easily disconnect it from the keyboard.I will agree with others that the power button can be a little hard to get to sometimes. I LOVE that the keyboard displays % charged. As I don’t use a keyboard all the time, that comes in really handy. I love that I can easily go between this one and my non keyboard case.

I love this new keyboard case for my iPad 10th generation. It connects easily and it also charges using usb-c so no need to carry two cables. The magnet is very strong and holds the iPad in place. The keys are very well made. I love typing on it! Overall a great product and it fits well in my lap. That’s one of the main reasons I was drawn to it more than the Magic Keyboard case from Apple in which a kickstand set up is not made for a lap. The only thing I wish is that it had more colors. I would have loved a matching case for my blue iPad.

it is absolute a magnificant keyboard, feel better than any non-apple laptops, fast respond, long duration.
The only disadvantage is too heavy.
