Traditional mirrors usually fail to cover these blind spots, thus increasing safety risk for vehicles or pedestrians behind the truck. Drivers won’t notice any approaching vehicles or pedestrians in these blind spots, causing potential accidents. Thanks to advanced technology, we can address this issue now.
Designed by Gökçe Nafak, Hyperlynx Truck is a modern, high-tech concept truck equipped with LiDAR, camera, and multiple sensor systems. The system provides a 360-degree scan of the truck’s surroundings, eliminating blind spots, allowing driver or AI system to detect all movements in real time, LiDAR is used to measure the distance and position of objects while cameras and sensors help visual and motion data for better safety. Any situation that might escape from driver’s attention can be identified by the system, it will release warnings or autonomous intervention when necessary.
The autonomous driving ability of Hyperlynx Truck will eliminate human errors, promising high efficiency in logistics process.
