To answer the challenge from FIA, Olcay Tuncay Karabulut has submitted his latest concept F1 car. Jean Todt, president of FIA confirmed that the global plans for sport’s next era can be expected to include new technical and sporting rules, cost controls, and prize money structure. The old agreement that governs the sport and set out the commercial terms will expire at the end 2020. Therefore, 2021 is seen as an exciting new era for this sport’s future.
With possible new regulations, F1 would promote closer and more exciting racing. Olcay Tuncay Karabulut has started design new interesting concepts for what Formula 1 car should look like in two years’ time, with better aerodynamics and aesthetics.

Let’s be honest here. While the concept is not ugly, it’s still on the same position that F1 is now. Whats under the engine cover is the same repulsive concept, the bastards at FIA keep pushing for a concept because manufacturers decide what and how will be the engines be, they should definitely drop the MGU-H. But oh wait, since manufacturers spent so much into developing it, they don’t want it gone, this is sad.
And let’s not even bring the halo to the discussion, which to this day hasn’t saved one live. Neither the brutal F3 crash at macau or the F3 crash at this year’s monza gp. Should I mention, may he rest in peace, antoine hubert? Money going to develop safety in useless areas. FIA should revise tracks instead, the cars are as safe as ever and the HALO protects the driver of cases that have never happened and will never happen.
So while the car is aesthetic, the halo and the engine concept are major factors as to why it’s not a step forward it’s just a facelift.
