Fan Tone is a ceiling fan and air cleaner in one, it’s designed to clean the air in the room while providing feedback to the house owner the level of fine dust in the air. According to OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development), at this moment, South Korea has the highest density of ultra-fine dust in the air among the 35 member countries. It means that indoor air pollution is also getting worse, especially in small residential areas.
Designed by Hyojeong Lee, Fan Tone is a concept fan that wants to solve these fine dust problems in your house. It’s a fan and air cleaner for smart home system that doesn’t take a long time to clean up a large space. It cleans the air for better circulation so quick, user can also adjust the temperature of the house more effectively by connecting air conditioner and the radiator to this fan. Fan Tone gives you feedback about the fine dust density through its light, you can get this information at a glance before you leave the house.
The companion app helps you to check the air quality of the house, you can simply activate the air cleaner when needed. Set the indoor temperature through the app before you back home, Fan Tone would work with previous air-conditioner/radiator to set to the ideal home temperature more effectively.
