EyeLight Street Pole Prevents Accidents at Pedestrian Crossings

EyeLight is a concept street pole specially designed for unregulated pedestrian crossings. This concept project won third place in Russia Top Choice category of Lexus Design Award 2019. By combining a motion sensor, LED strip and LED projector, Eyelight detects movement of pedestrians and signals drivers by projecting signs onto the roadway. It is hoped that this concept can prevent accidents, since there are more than 50,000 accidents involving pedestrians each year in Russia.
