Eco Plant Underwater Smart Robot for Seaweed Restoration Tasks

Do you know that carbon dioxide that accounts for about 90% of greenhouse gasses has increased approximately 50% compared to pre-industrial levels? With concentration of carbon dioxide in the oceans increases, the acidification occurs, meaning a decrease in pH. This condition can threaten the survival of marine organism and disrupt the balance of ecosystems.

Eco Plant is an underwater robot, it serves as an efficient and precise seaweed transplant assistant, a perfect robot for seaweed restoration tasks. This project would help recover marine ecosystems in response to climate change, especially seaweed restoration project in Menorca, Spain.
