Awarded with a Bronze award in International Design Award 2019, Dove is a playful concept kettle designed to solve basic problems in water boiling process by taking users into consideration. Featuring a silicone handle, Dove is safe to hold while the stainless steel body has an inlet and an outlet on the other side, both are compatible with the flow of water. To prevent any accidents that might happen while opening/closing the lid, there’s a small silicone attached to it to increase hold on the slippery stainless steel surface.
Designed by Hakan Gürsu of Designnobis, for waterproofing, the lid is also designed with a silicone seal on its mouth. The shape of the spout allows you to pour water in a more controlled manner. Dove Kettle is beautiful and quirky at the same time.
