After designing Everloop toothbrush that features replaceable bristles, NOS Design is challenged with another project where they are asked to apply the same principle to solve Dish Brush waste around the world. Well, the company has come up with an innovative solution to answer that challenge. This Dish Brush features a head with a concave lid mechanism where it compresses the bristles against the inner part. This concavity also doubles as a container where you can place a soap while cleaning your tableware.
Just in case it’s time for those bristles to be replaced, simply open it using any flat piece as lever to replace a new set of bristles.
The body of this brush is made of recycled plastic while those bristles are made from natural fibers such as as castor beans, bamboo, etc. NOS Design makes sure that any bristles which are disposed don’t contain any plastic, thus, making them 100% compostable unlike existing disposable heads in the market which still contain some plastic components. Each dish brush comes with 5 sets of bristles, even the packaging is made out of 100% compostable thermoformed paper pulp.
