In October 2013, Land Rover announced that production would end in December 2015 after a continuous run of 67 years. Production finally ended on 29 January 2016 when the last Defender rolled off the production line. Now it’s time for new ideas! It’s time for a new legend, and here it is – The New Defender!

The old Land Rover Defender 90 now will be Defender Sport. The new car design proposal continues the tradition of its predecessor and still is uncompromising four wheel drive off-road car. At the same time developed a new model dynamic potential. This is the main reason for change of name. New Defender change perceptions about the capabilities of the off-road vehicle, because it has two challenges. Increased vehicle base, which allows it to be more stable during the off-road and also more maneuvering during sporty driving.

This new generation car design was inspired by the history of the Land Rover. Every line and every detail was well thought out and worked out many times. This creates a sophisticated and subtle body, which is pretty simple form. Properly chosen proportions not only makes a dynamic vehicle body, but also makes it more practical. The new generation of Defender is much more varied and interesting.

Glorious past opening the way for a new future. Land Rover Defender is a legendary car that invented the era. Now it has a truly worthy successor – the new generation of Defender Sport!
