Danish Milano Ori Bird Feeder Is Easy to Disassemble And Sanitize

Danese Milano has partnered up with Foster + Partners to design Ori Bird Feeder. It’s a sculptural and versatile feeder designed to be suspended from a tree branch, a floor standing feeder, or a standing water bath. The name comes from the Japanese word “Tori”, which means bird. This modern design would make a nice addition to your porch or garden.

Through research into bird species, Mike Holland, the head of industrial design at Foster + Partners, says that they discovered that bird feeders can be a source of disease transmission for our avian friends due to seasonal variations across different continents. Ori is designed to be easy to disassembly and sanitation, promising a functional feeder with sculptural statement.

Ori Bird Feeder by Foster + Partners Industrial Design is designed and developed through an iterative design process, it is highly focused on aesthetics, functionality, and purity. It is crafted with aluminum cones, stainless steel elements, and threaded aluminum tubes. That vertical axis locks all components into one to ensure stability and ease of maintenance.

In responding to seasonal changes and different bird species, the feeding tube is designed to be swappable to allow for variety of food types, from nuts, seeds, to suet. It’s easy to dissemble and clean the feeder, reducing the risk of disease transmission among birds. The feed will be protected from the rain while still allowing good aeration through that perforated tray. This modern bird feeder features bold, graphic presence that can either contrast of blend in harmony with its natural surroundings.
