CF8 Motor Yacht is a future concept yacht submitted by Sea Level Yacht Design & Engineering, the name itself stands for Cars and Family in 80 meters. People usually get inspired by seeing, hearing, or learning new footage, music and imagnery, even creativity can get inspired by new influences that would lead to new concepts. This new yacht is hoped to shape and give a glimpse vision of future yachting. This project aims to create a yacht that makes traveling around the world even faster and more enjoyable.
It’s been envisioned by many experts that somewhere in not so distant future, wealthy people would be able to reach any spot in the world in just few hours. This means, it would be easier for them to visit their yacht for a few days together with friends and family no matter where the yacht is based.
“We are yacht designers, creative professionals that feel comfortable in the yachting industry. We listen to clients, visualise their desires into images, we interact with brokers and people of the yards, and there is more….”

During the concept phase where sketches are created, they help to express nuances and subtleties. Fine point markers and sharp pencils become more useful as design process moves closer to a more highly resolved plan. The result as you can see here is strong outer shape with strong design lines that represent the character lines of sports cars. The hull and superstructure are inextricably linked to each other while the downward going line from the aft upper part of the hull towards the bow gives the yacht an aerodynamic shape.
Curved center volume provides a counter posing shape, which “visually carried” by the outer shape, it was inspired by the showroom of Louwman Exclusive Cars in the Netherlands. That show room is captured in a remarkable 5km long sound barrier along the high way, built out of glass panels. The glass material makes great opportunity to bring light into the living spaces.
For CF8 motor yacht, the cars showroom features an area of 100m2. Through a boarding platform the cars can be embarked. Owner would be able to choose the appropriate car to drive for any occasion they would like, anywhere, whenever they want. For the feasibility of the design, Sea Level has created a structural design with large centerline structures to support the deck levels inside the glass volume and the levels above.
80-meters width would provide great stability at the sea, it means optimum comfort for guests and crew. The wide beam generates an ultimate spacious feeling. Guests would experience an amazing indoor and outdoor atmosphere in different way that existing superyachts.

Tuvie has received “CF8 Motor Yacht” project from our ‘Submit A Design‘ feature, where we welcome our readers to submit their design/concept for publication.
I would add larger watercraft deck space & cover for bow swimming pool or move pool to midships & semi enclose.
Larger Helo deck should be aft or near midships aft of Bridge structure.
Add viewports to cabins.
