The objective of Catterbox collar was simple, to give your cat a voice. Keeping this in mind, Mars Temptations Lab has worked its way to create a device that brings serious fun into cats’ lives.
Most studies have shown that cats communicate with humans through their meow, not to each other. Different sound has different meaning, therefore, it is possible with current technology to detect and match each meow to a human voice. Catterbox, a 3D printed collar houses this technology that connects with special app to give human voice to your cat, this is truly a great news to feline lovers, especially when this device really works. The collar is pretty similar with the dog collar that you see from Disney Pixar’s Up, perhaps the design team took the idea from this movie.

This is not just a concept, fully working prototypes of Catterbox collar has been launched in the US and New Zealand, you can test this right away, and please get back to us and make a comment about your experience. We would really like to know if this device is just a toy or quiet accurate to represent your cat’s behaviors. If you own cats, you probably know that they usually play hard to get, according to Gary Weitzman (author of “How to Speak Cat”), cats communicate to train their humans to serve them, so basically your cat would probably boss you around to fulfill their every wish.
