BMW Motorrad has released their extraordinary project based on the BMW CE 02. Usually BMW Motorrad focuses primarily on BMW Motorrad Heritage models such as BMW R 18 and BMW R 12 nineT, but this time, the company wants to demonstrate their high levels of craftsmanship and new ideas. The collaboration between BMW Motorrad Austria in Salzburg and Design & Makers Studio VAGABUND in Graz has created a stylish urban vehicle: BMW CE 02 x VAGABUND e-Bike.

Vagabund was immediately in love when they saw CE 02 for the first time, it’s a perfect vehicle for the brand to try to break new ground and recreate existing product into their unique style.

Vagabund Moto defines its work to be about retro-future style. This company has tried to combine futuristic original design with some retro vibes, promising viewer a familiar feeling. At first sight, BMW CE 02 x VAGABUND e-Bike boasts unique, retro-futuristic design, it comes with various functional retro elements which are designed in modern way. It’s a project of BMW Motorrad that focuses on young target group, this bike features musical integration of the OB-4 Magic Radio from “Teenage Engineering” that underlines young and creative philosophy of custom bikes. That electric exhaust offers a practical style element and visual highlight, but inside, it reveals a space for an umbrella. Other design elements such as the running board with skateboard grip tape offer sporty and urban eParkourer style.
