De Bethune Perpetual Calendar Watch was launched back in 2011, it’s a watch that speaks poetry combined with finesse of watchmaking, delivering a beautiful mechanics with most romantic complication. This watch features the moon phase along its starry sky, presenting perpetual calendar inside a beautiful timepiece.
Making its debut at Geneva Watch Days 2022, De Bethune unveils a 40mm titanium case of its perpetual calendar collection. The original version was inspired by the shape of drums, it is designed with 40mm diameter round case, it has slender and classic lines, this time it’s enhanced by the openworked lugs characteristic. You will witness the purity of the two-tone hand-guilloché dial with a pattern that radiates across 12 sectors, silver-toned raised Roman numerals that mark off the subdials and the chapter ring. At every 12 o’clock, a palladium and blued steel sphere is set against a sky dotted with pink gold stars, this watch also incorporates a leap-year indicator in gold disc. You can read the date on a dial at 6 o’clock while those apertures display the day of the week and the month are located at 9 and 3 o’clock. The sapphire caseback allows you to admire the beautiful complexity of the movement, it is powered by a titanium and platinum oscillating weight coming from research and the R&D team. We really love that hand-colored starry sky decoration, a blued titanium balance bridge, hand-colored white gold oscillating weight, including hand-bevelled and hand-polished steel parts.
