The forgotten Neprosolar Watch is here once more. Back in 1970s, there’s a forgotten solar-powered watch concept. This year, Bamford London has released 70s style, retro-futuristic rechargeable digital watch based on that forgotten concept. This solar-powered watch is backed by state-of-the-art electronic technology.
Use a single touch to activate the illumination of blue OLED display, it displays an hour and minute that can be set to 12 or 24-hour mode, using a flashing colon to indicate seconds. Second touch would show you the day and the month while the third touch would indicate its power through a series of four dots.
The battery of Bamford Neprosolar promises zero-to-full solar recharge rate at around 20 hours. Bamford London says that when the display is activated at just 10 times a day without solar recharge, the battery will discharge in about 500 days. Featuring a stainless-steel cylinder that releases from the top just like a top-secret canister, Neprosolar Watch wants to bring back nostalgic story of early high-tech era.
