Designed for four people, Alpina Aircraft is an award-winning project designed for used in mountainous areas. It’s a concept aircraft able to land and take off in short distances. The challenges of this project was to design a plane with better performance and durability yet more spacious with useful interior design without breaking brand identity. With its ability to land and take off in short distances, this aircraft is perfect for places with many altitude differences such as mountainous areas, the half wings under the main wings allow for more balanced gliding. The supporting parts between main wings and half wings provide more stability to the main wings.
Designed by Dr. Hakan Gursu of DesignNobis Studio, Alpina Concept Aircraft is light with spacious interior thanks to perforated seating units and that high-top glass cover. This transportation has been designed for effective use of interior space inspired by exterior style of Aquila airplanes. Those floats under the half wings allow this aircraft to land on sea.
