Awake RÄVIK Electric Surfboard Speeds Up to 30 Knots

Awake, a company based in Limhamn, has released their first electric surfboard model, Awake RÄVIK. This is the first in their electric surfboard series that would redefine mobility on water. This surfboard is the result of collaboration between senior designers, electronic and mechanical engineers, software developers, and production industry professionals, together they deliver a new generation in electrical crafts segment, no compromises have been made.

Awake RÄVIK electric surfboard would thrust the rider to speeds up to 30 knots or 36mph, just by reading this, you might sense its power and the thrill ride it delivers. Ravik by Awake is designed with streamlined, hydrodynamic carbon body, it aims to trigger adrenaline both in and out of the water. The electronics system inside this board was developed in-house with special components specifically chosen for building a long-term, adaptable, and scalable system for future Awake products. It uses multiple safety sensors that include fundamental features such as temperature monitoring and automatic shutdown when this board is turned upside down.

Thanks to Awake’s patent-pending drivetrain, RÄVIK features superior torque. It is equipped with Awake Direct Drive that allows for efficient water propulsion that bypasses the major losses, which are usually happened in traditional jet propelled water crafts. The ergonomic handheld is designed to represent sophisticated power of the Awake board with 1-inch display to show battery level, speed, and rider mode.
