AquaPack is an early survival kit for flooded areas. It is designed to help survivors to last 24 to 48 hours until rescue team arrives. Inside this bag, there’s a water filtration bottle, radio telemetry to communicate with rescue team, floats on water so that you never lose it, thermal emergency blanket, first-aid kit. The carrying strap makes it easy to carry water or other items.
As global warming continues, the effect is undeniable. Climates around the world can’t be predicted as accurate as before. Some areas can experience flash floods where many crucial infrastructures suffer damage and people’s lives are at risk.
Flood survivors will find AquaPack really useful as they lack access to basic requirements to clean water, food, medical care, and shelter. Moreover, due to geographical impacts, bad weather, some rescue missions can take days to locate and help survivors, leading to increase number of casualties. When survivors have AquaPack, they can purify water around them to hydrate their body while making contact with rescue team through radio telemetry. Simple wounds can be treated with first-aid kit to avoid infection, they can also keep their body warm with a thermal emergency blanket.
Designed by Behzad Rashidizadeh, the main goal of AquaPack project is to improve water filtration solution for flooded environment while providing several necessary safety equipment to help impacted person survive. It is easy to use for both children and elderly.
