Aero Mobile Oxygen Features Practical Backpack with Integrated Remote Control

The oxygen concentrator Aero is designed primarily for mobile use. Aero Mobile Oxygen helps people with lung defects to supply their body with oxygen. Aero has the advantage that no logistical effort for refilling is necessary. The concentrator has a comfortable handle, a flat design and can easily be integrated into everyday life.

In many cases, patients live 24 hours a day with an oxygen machine but for many people, a big problem is the exposure to the general public. For any outsider it is clear that there must be a very sick person because of the loud, big, heavy equipment. The Aero Mobile Oxygen comes with a practical backpack with which you can control the oxygen concentrator through an integrated remote control. The backpack doesn’t look like a medical device to achieve that the patient feels comfortable in public. To personalize Aero every patient has the possibility to change the cover in different styles.

  1. As a young-ish victim of a genetic lung disease, I would really like to see this design for the Aero Mobile Oxygen put into production. There are many Alpha 1 patients in their 30's, 40's and up that would really appreciate something more stylish and less intrusive. Great design, I hope a forward thinking company picks it up!

  2. I would love something like this! I have been an active person my entire life and due to an inherited condition, must use oxygen while exercising. Ever try to kayak or ride a bike with one of the "portable" concentrators currently on the market? The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimate that 24 million Americans have COPD and it is a known fact the best thing you can do to prevent the disease from worsening is by staying active. I do hope this is available soon!!!

  3. Like always – they design something that would really make life better for people; and it _never_ goes up for sale.

Just like those nice prosthetic arms they made up for the Deus Ex promo – you think my one-armed buddy is ever going to have a chance to buy one? Fat chance.

They design it, suck in the "oohs" and "ahhhs" and then forget it ever existed.

    • Because it requires extensive researches, trial and error, heavily tested, this is a medical equipment, you don't want to experience any failure in the system. People sue for less reason, that's why concept mostly stays just a concept.
