In order to meet the demand of aggressive future city lifestyle, Aeolus hybrid subcompact vehicle was born. This electric vehicle concept was designed under supervision of Chengdu Gaoyuan Automobile Industry Co.Ltd, a brach of Geely. It is a lightweight urban mini-crossover electric vehicle with capacity of 3 people and speed up to 120km/hour.
The main objective of Aeolus hybrid subcompact vehicle project was to develop a new energy efficient vehicle suitable for future city space that would be getting smaller and smaller yet with very affordable price. After making an extensive research, the automotive designer decided to design a sporty and aggressive car for future young consumers to answer the future needs of urban mobility.

Inspired by the nature, Aeolus concept combines wilderness, muscular power, aggressive expression with modern style. It is equipped with hybrid pneumatic engine because hybrid pneumatic vehicles are expected to be much cheaper compared to hybrid electric vehicles since there are no batteries or electric motors required.
Aeolus has been designed with 31000mm body and features reverse opening doors for easy get on/off the vehicle for all passengers. For the electric edition, Aeolus offers a spacious cockpit and front baggage compartment.
This pneumatic hybrid subcompact vehicle is expected to be released on the market at the price of $8,000.
