Flood can cause damage to buildings, structures, including bridges. ACCESS is an emergency river-crossing bridge that can be installed to gain access from one side to another side of the river. This unit is easy to transport with simple mechanism that can be applied in rural areas.
On each side of the river, ACCESS can be anchored deeply onto the ground to create safe and stable platform for river crossing. This lightweight construction can be achieved due to aluminum pipes as the frame, each part is easy to connect, the overall mechanism is easy to assemble. The necessary static stability is made possible through spanning two ropes across the river. There’s a flexible floating jetty that inflates with compressed air from one of the units then unfolds steplessly across the river, locked into place by the ropes.
