A Life Buoy Concept that can distill seawater, if this concept comes to reality, it would help tremendous of people in the event of a shipwreck. We all know that transforming seawater into potable water requires complicated steps, which is impossible to do when we are floating in the middle of nowhere. Most people die of dehydration and sunburn due to prolonged immersion in seawater that accelerates the loss of water from the body.
Designed by He Yue, Wang Dading, and Yuan Huaiyu, this Life Buoy concept would become a life preserver. It can extract seawater and distill it into drinkable water to supplement human body. The main function it’s still the same, a life buoy, it just helps increase survivor’s chance of being rescued.
