Yamaha has introduced MT-10 motorcycle at 2015 EICMA, Milan. It offers you power, torque, and agility, it’s by far the most powerful MT ever created. Yamaha explains that this model has been tuned for more low and mid-range torque, giving you serious power with corner-carving precision.
Featuring 998cc crossplane engine that’s tuned for extra low to mid range torque, combined with a lightweight ultra-short wheelbase aluminum Deltabox chassis, MT-10 provides you ultimate power with class leading agility and total control. The ergonomic body design allows for a natural riding position. The engine features new intake, exhaust, and fueling systems that support its strong low to mid range performance, it also has uneven 270° – 180° – 90° – 180° firing sequence to deliver linear torque with instant response and precise control.

For highest degree of rider control, MT-10 is equipped with a Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) and adjustable Cruise Control system that functions above 50km/h. In order to suit different conditions, Yamaha D-Mode system offers 3 engine-running modes with a 12V DC outlet that can be used to accommodate various accessories. For smooth and effective transmission of power from high torque crossplane engine to the road surface, MT-10 is equipped with a switchable Traction Control System (TCS) with 3 intervention levels.
The compact and lightweight chassis of this bike is developed based on YZF-R1 award winning design. The relationship between handlebar, seat, and footrest gives a slightly forward leaning riding position to enable you to take advantage of the linear torque. MT-10 also features compact side cowls with duct shaped covers and a shouldered fuel tank cover.
