XGT concept roadster is a project of Sebastian Gomez, beautifully rendered with attention to details. It’s a personal project, a concept car for super GT class, a sports car that features elegance. You can read his explanations below:
It started as a hardtop coupe, featuring advanced aerodynamics (top mounted – folding – active aerodynamic – air brake) spoiler, the structure is based in a carbon monocoque. It would have a twin turbo v8 engine, rear wheel drive, panoramic windshield, centerlock wheels, carbon details everywhere, butterfly style doors…
Designer : Sebastian Gomez
This XGT Concept Roadster is very well equipped in the interior, forming a structure that adds more rigidity to the overall chassis of the car. It’s made of a mix of high quality leather or Alcantara and carbon fiber to give it an amazing look and contrast. It has carbon back bucket seats and small additional space behind them. Many of the dials in the center console have digital displays as well as the driving mode dial and the gear selector. The interior has a “Floating console” setup that allows to store items under the console. It has all the functionality expected from a supercar of this category like lift system, race mode and traction and stability controls.
The main display setup is divided into 3 parts: The center console screen, the driver display and a heads-up-display projected at the windshield, all of these three can be customisable to show all kinds of data like GPS, G-force, car telemetry, and more.
