Powercat 115 Yacht Features 3-Body-Design for Smooth Turn Even at High Speed

This Powercat 115 Yacht concept proposes the best of both worlds on the water: relaxing real-estate when docked or anchored at bay, coupled with power and agility to satisfy any thrill seeker. The problem with traditional catamarans is that they tend to handle the water similar to a Formula 1 car through the turns, as it is unable to lean into the turns like any monohull design.

Powercat 115 Yacht design on the other hand, features a 3-body design – allowing the 2 hulls to operate independently and carve through the water at high speeds, similar to downhill slalom skiing. This innovative approach will allow any company brand to stand out from competition as it enters this new market of multi hull power yachts.

  1. Very different.. hope someone actually buys the design.. the yacht world needs some new blood.. most all large yachts have the look of military-destroyer in nature. Cat double hull look should be explored more for larger boats
