  1. for high quality materials graphical interface does not match up to styling job. although i have to say i liek the design and would be more then happy to own one in my home. fix that GI, make it a bit more flashy and unique, and you will be on the right track! great job

  2. I know a lot of people may complain about the fact that it's long, but I love the long design. It looks like a razor, very sleek. The actual interface however, is not very good. But, if you can make the interface as good as the actual phone design, maybe incorporate a full color screen, maybe with some new technologies even, like the up and coming OLED screens, that would put this phone over the top.

It's definitely something I would consider. I'm looking for a new phone myself and I love vtech.

  3. I actually own the phone and is pretty sleek, the touch interface really works well. I wouldn't put a Color or OLED screen in it because it would be irrelevant, also the interface is ok as it is very straight forward, I am saying irrelevant because it would be a waste to use those technologies in an interface that all it does is configure the phone (ringtones, messages, settings) also it would make it more expensive and less energy efficient which is one of the strong selling points on this phone. The only thing I would change is to have an option on setting the time for the phone to go into sleep mode or auto lock, right now it just last's seconds and then you have to touch it again to wake it up.

  4. You can't own this phone because it's a concept. That means it's not actually "out" yet. It's just a person's "concept". You must own something like it. I tend to agree that a color screen would be a plus. It's easier for people to see, and I've owned phones like this that do have color screens that are energy efficient that have a better visibility to them.

  5. holy crap, Alex is totally right, i guess Catherine ripped that design a quiet a bit. well whatever, i see this int eh design world all the time.

  6. I feel a little weired about GUI design too.But in my opinion, designer who can creat such stylish apperance seems not so unconscious about it.So,it would be the corporation product strategy: common display, isn’t it?
