This pen will also help those that have dyslecxia or learning disabilities that make reading difficult. There is a pen reader out now but it is difficult to use because it must be held in just the right way and is difficult to use.

The best thing about this concept is that only 5% of the blind can actually read Braille. It is about time that technology that has existed for a long time is being used to help the visually impaired. The only thing about this product though is that if only 5% of the blind can read Braille, the buttons on the product would be hard to use as they would not know what buttons they are pressing.

I am totally blind and currently use mainstream scanning software with a pc and an a4 size scanner, but I would love a portable solution to be able to read print.

you can type as a blind person. my private lesson teacher for flute is blind and she has this program which says the key of which she is typing. I’m sure it takes a little while to get used to but she can type something like 60-80 words per minute.
