Urban Rainwater Collector Collects and Filters Rain Water Into Drinkable Water

As well as large (and larger) number of citizens, modern cities are homes to a vast number of stray animals. Among many others, the most urgent need they have is drinkable water. Venn IDC team designs urban furniture that collects, refines and stores rain water. It offers a place to rest in shadow for the sunny days. When the rain falls short, it promotes people to add drinkable water. The physical barrier covers the water reservoir from waste disposal.

The overhead tent, besides being useful as a shade, supplies a dry spot for the rainy days mainly for stray animals to get cover.

In order to reduce the effects of bottles on environment, which are projected to be used to add water, a specified recycling collection area is included.

Designed by Venn IDC, the stainless steel and canopy enables this product to harmonize with the modern city aesthetic. The filter part is unreachable for daily use. For its routine cleaning, already established procedures that municipalities employ to clean products like underground waste storage units are applicable.
